5.8. Airbus – Helicopter (on behalf Altran Deutschland S.A.S. & Co. KG)

I collaborated with Altran Deutschland on a project for Airbus – Helicopter, where I contributed to the migration of the NH90 helicopter to the civil branch and included tasks such as creating avionic system specification baselines, draft-ing technical notes general descriptions, and developing qualification test documents such as the maintenance ser-vice plan and quality performance review.

As consultant by Altran Deutschland, I worked on business management related to project prospecting. My project tasks included working on the Oblix project (airship) and attending meetings, conducting analysis, and design work for the Zeiss-Hensoldt and Thales UAV projects.

As a test bench system engineer, I worked on the E-Fan X Electric Propulsion Unit project at Airbus Defense and Space, representing Altran Deutschland.

Time period, place: 09/2019 – 12/2019, Airbus Defence and Space, Taufkirchen.

Project tasks: Test Bench System Engineering for E-Fan X Electric Propulsion Unit. Design and de-velopment of the EPU test bench for Siemens and then for Rolls-Royce Electro Motors for the functional integration test of the electric hybrid drive system of E-Fan X.

I worked at Airbus – Helicopter on behalf of Altran Deutschland and my project topic was reviewing software, verification cases and procedures, specifically for the generic weapon system for the H145M. My project tasks included re-viewing software tests, and my technical environment included IBM DOORS™.

As part of my work at Altran Deutschland, I was assigned to develop a new generation of drone. The technical envi-ronment I worked with included Arduino, Python, ultrasonic sensor, and LoRa (Long Range Active).

I worked on a project related to system architecture for designing final approach patterns for the MALE RPAS 2020 (or Eurodrone) to a target, on behalf of Altran Deutschland for Airbus Defense and Space and Dassault Aviation. The project tasks involved safety system development, and the technical environment included MATLAB.

As a member of a project team at Valeo Siemens eAutomotive Germany GmbH, working on behalf of Altran Deutschland, my role involved system engineering and development of a safety system for the electric rear axle drive of cars. Specifically, I focused on software development to ensure the safety of the system, and designed solutions to mitigate potential hazards.

Project tasks: System engineering and development of a safety system with a focus on software development for electric rear axle drive in cars. Safety system development, hazard mitigation solutions design.

The BVNG hybrid system is a hybrid powertrain system developed by Rolls-Royce Power Systems and MTU Friedrichshafen. It is designed for use in naval vehicles and includes both electric and combustion engine components, allowing for improved efficiency and reduced emissions.

Project tasks: System engineering of the BVNG Hybrid system architecture (BVNG Hybrid High Level / Functional Requirements Document). Development of system specifications and architecture.
